‘Finally’ cheer Apple fans as surprise new iPhone color ‘leaked’ – our exclusive mock-up reveals what it might look like

A NEW color option for the iPhone 16 Pro may have been revealed – and fans can’t seem to agree on what it will look like.

The upcoming model is rumored to feature a brand-new colorway, according to a supply chain leak on Chinese social network Weibo.

“The new color code for iPhone 16 Pro is Rose,” an anonymous user wrote in a post reviewed by The U.S. Sun. “Not the rose gold on the iPhone 6S before.”

This suggests the shade differs from the champagne color seen on past iPhones.

“Rose” won’t be Apple’s first foray into pink, either. The latest model, the iPhone 15, comes in baby pink. Before that, the iPhone 13 was a similar peachy shade.

The leaker included a swatch showing more of a sandy brown color, though it is not expected to be true to life.

The leak sparked speculation on other social media sites, notably Reddit, where users shared different interpretations of the color name.

Some iPhone fans went so far as to claim the name denoted a red shade.

“Not rose gold. Just rose, as far as the verbatim. That could suggest a full red color and not a pink tone,” one Redditor wrote.

Another theorized it would be closer to magenta.

“Rose gold was just a metallic pink,” the user wrote.

“If you look at the 15 Pro Blue Titanium it’s quite dark, the same will probably be true here.”

According to the same leaker, the Blue Titanium shade is “canceled” for the iPhone 16 Pro.

The leaker previously claimed the model will come in three colors other than pink.

These include a black titanium similar to Deep Space Black on the iPhone 14 Pro; a white titanium similar to Silver White on the iPhone 14 Pro; and a silver that is “a bit gray” compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.

Other sources assert the iPhone 16‌ and ‌iPhone 16‌ Plus will also be offered in green and a different blue shade.

Many rumors are swirling ahead of the iPhone 16’s anticipated release this fall.

Leaked design images show the Pro models boasting taller display sizes than the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 15 Pro.

The size of the largest device is expected to increase from the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 6.7 inches to a jaw-dropping 6.9 inches.

The Pro model is also expected to boast a brighter display.

A previous Weibo leak claims the ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ will feature up to 1,200 nits of typical SDR brightness – a 20% increase over current models.

However, peak HDR brightness will remain the same at 1,600 nits.
