LIDL has launched a “delicious” new biscuit combining two iconic treats.

Shoppers are licking their lips over the new digestive creams hitting the shelves.

Dansway Gifts and Bargains UK page alerted Facebook users to the new snack.

They said: “Lidl have these NEW Digestive Creams for 49p.”

Attached to the post was a photo of the biscuits, made up of two digestive halves resembling the classic custard creams.

Sandwiched in between is the iconic creamy filling.

Shoppers were quick to comment on the post and share their excitement over the tasty new treats.

One said: “Ooo now these look good.”

Another commented: “We really need these! Like 4 packets!”

A third wrote: “Omg! I need to try.”

While a fourth tagged their pal and posted: “Get me these!!!!”

“This is a game changer,” another said.

Others called them “delicious” and vowed to “stock up”.

A pack of the biscuits cost just 49p, and are only available to buy in Lidl supermarkets – you can’t buy them online.

McVitie’s does make its own version of the biscuits but they don’t mimic custard creams in the same way Lidl’s does.

McVitie’s Digestives Creams Biscuits in both chocolate and vanilla are available at Sainsbury’s for £1.

Elsewhere, McVitie’s have launched a new “seriously chocolatey” spin-off of its classic digestives.

The biscuit contains chocolate chips with an extra layer of chocolate coating.

The move follows Mars launching a new biscuit range earlier this year.

The chocolate bar giant in February launched Twix Secret Centre Biscuits in UK stores.

The biscuit emulates the taste of the traditional Twix bar, with a combination of caramel and milk chocolate.

McVitie’s has launched a new “indulgent” flavour that will make your tastebuds excited.

The new biccies are described as a “moreish, multi-sensorial experience” that is a bite of bliss.

The new ‘Signature’ range has three new treats for those with a sweet tooth to enjoy.

The three new biscuits include Caramel Chocolate Rounds, Chocolate Cream Swirls, and Chocolate Caramel.

The Caramel Chocolate Rounds have a rich, gooey caramel centre which is encased between a crunchy, golden biscuit.

Snack fans are also racing to shops where a “lush” new Bourbon flavour has been spotted on shop shelves.

New Bourbon Twists with a caramel filling are selling in Sainsbury’s for 60p and shoppers say they’re “delicious”.

Plus, banana Jammie Dodgers are back in Home Bargains and shoppers are going wild.

The banana flavouring replaces the classic jam filling that Brits have grown to love over the years.

Meanwhile, we tested luxury chocolate biscuits after Choco Leibniz packs shrank – the winner was half the price and perfect for dunking.
