AS Oasis prepares for their much-anticipated tour in 2025, fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to secure more tickets for their live shows.
With recent ballot issues and a surge in ticket prices, many are keen to be selected for the new Wembley gigs – but you’ll have to know the answer to one crucial question first if you hope to stand a chance.

When did Oasis last play Wembley Stadium?
Oasis last played at Wembley Stadium on July 12, 2009.
It was part of their ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ tour.
This concert was notable as it was one of their final performances before the band split up later that year.
How do I know if I’m in the Oasis Wembley ballot?

Not everybody was given the chance to enter the Oasis ticket ballot this time around.
Select fans will access the ballot on an “invitation-only” basis.
If you are eligible, you should have received an invitation by email to participate in the ballot from Ticketmaster.
Those likely to have received the email link will be fans that were previously stuck in the long and seemingly never-ending queues for tickets the first time around on Saturday August 31.
The band hoped this would make it fairer for anyone who missed out.
But even with the ‘smoother’ process in place, fans still have to prove their Oasis general knowledge is worthy, with an entry-gaining question once again.
During the first round, fans were asked to name the band’s original drummer, but now they need to answer the question: “When did Oasis last perform at Wembley Stadium?”
The correct answer is July 12, 2009.
Make sure to provide this answer when registering.
Once you have registered, you will be entered into a draw to receive a code that grants access to the ticket sale.
But it is important to note that registering does not guarantee that you will receive a code.
Keep an eye on your email for any updates about the ballot and the ticket sale.
If you are successful, you will receive a code that will allow you to purchase tickets.
If you did not receive an email, you might not be eligible for this ballot.
It is also a good idea to check your spam or junk folders in case the email was filtered there.
Registration ends at midnight on September 8, 2024, with ballot codes set to be distributed by September 13, 2024.
But some Oasis fans are upset over issues with the ballot.
Many who were eligible for the ballot have reported not receiving their invitations in the first place – despite meeting the criteria.
One person said online: “So I registered for the presale ballot.
“Logged on last Saturday and queued for 8 hours for you to kick me out when I was finally able to buy 4 tickets.
“Now I don’t get recognised as a valid customer for the September ballot.
“Shower of muck and a kick in the teeth to old fans.”
This frustration follows the initial ticket sale, which saw some prices surge to £355 due to dynamic pricing.
