How to become an Instagram influencer
Thousands of people have found fame in the world of influencing and managed to make mega bucks in the industry.
However, this doesn’t mean they haven’t worked hard to get there.
There are different avenues you can go down to try and become an influencer yourself.
Build your following
It is important to have a large following if you want to become an influencer to make sure you get noticed.
The higher amount of followers you have, the more likely big brands will see your profile and want to collaborate.
You can increase your number of followers by uploading regularly and finding your niche.
Engage with your audience
To make your followers feel involved, you can engage with them online.
You can do this by replying to comments or tagging them in posts.
Create quality content.
It’s no good if you’re sharing blurry photos or poor content to your feed.
You should make sure you know how to use lighting and editing apps to provide good quality content to your followers.
You may also consider creating a theme to your Instagram so all your content blends in together.
Set goals
It’s a good idea to set yourself goals when it comes to becoming an influencer.
Write down your aims such as follower amount milestones and how often you want to be uploading.
Be patient
Becoming a successful influencer isn’t going to happen overnight.
You need to manage your expectations and know that it could take months or years to build up your followers.
You should celebrate your small wins along the way to keep your motivation up.
Appear on TV
It has become known that many people now appear on reality shows with the aim of becoming famous.
Love Island has been criticised in recent series due to viewers saying contestants no longer go on it to find love, but instead to start a career.
Going on TV means that viewers know who you are and might search for your social media to follow.

“And I’ll go to any length. I’ve worked my absolute a** off to get where I am now.”
Fashion influencer Laura Blair, who has almost a million followers on Instagram, says to become an influencer you have to not care what people think of you.

Instagram Influencer Lucy Bennett has told those wanting to get into the industry that those starting out need to be themselves.
