DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A Dothan man facing two seperate murder charges has pled guilty to shooting a woman in her sleep.
Ty’Shauwn Markise Bryant pled guilty to one count of manslaughter in the death of Christina Moore on Wednesday, September 11. He was initially facing a murder charge until his plea.
Dothan Police said Bryant shot 50-year-old Moore while she slept in her South Lena Street home in Dothan in September 2020.
Reports show Bryant went on the run after Moore’s murder until he was captured by the U.S. Marshals on November 30, 2021, in Newnan, Georgia.
Bryant is facing a separate murder charge in the 2021 shooting death of Imari Glanton.
According to Dothan police, in October 2021, a month before his initial arrest, Bryant shot 22-year-old Glanton multiple times in the 700 block of Monroe Street.
