DUNELM shoppers are raving over a heated airer that “dries clothes fast” and only costs “6p to run”.
The UK’s leading home furnishing retailer has outdone itself once again by producing an affordable heated airer with wings.
The product is designed with fold-out wings for more drying space
It can also neatly fold away
Designed with fold-out wings for more drying space, Dunelm claimed: “This heated airer allows you to dry your clothes quickly and has low energy consumption.”
Priced at £40, this heated airier only costs 6p per hour to run.
It didn’t take long for several customers to share their glowing reviews on the product advert on Dunelm’s website.
One customer, Ruth, commented: “I find the Airer very handy, especially when is dry enough to air, without needing to put on the heating.”
A second buyer shared their experience: “We’ve needed a new airer for weeks and as this electric one was only about £10 more than a basic one we thought we’d give it a go.
“Very pleased with this airer as it has loads of useful space and is cheap to run – or just use it unpowered when the room is warm enough.
“The thicker rails compared to our old airer also help to reduce creases.”
A fourth commented: “I bought this airer to see if this worked at drying my clothes, within the first hour light clothes were dry, only jumpers and cardigans took longer.”
“Excellent, cheap to run and dries clothes quickly, with the added bonus of heating the room whilst clothes are drying.
Great value for money!” said a fifth shopper.
A sixth buyer shared their technique: “Absolute 100% recommend this heated airer and it’s so cheap to run.
“I have mine plugged into a smart plug so it goes off automatically.”
At a time of a cost of living crisis, many homeowners are trying to spend as little as they can.
This makes affording a tumble dryer quite difficult for some as tumble dryers are renowned for having a high running cost
On the other hand, drying clothes indoors on radiators could promote damp air and ultimately, mould.
Mould is a pesky house pest which cause serious health issues.
Once it truly takes over, it can also be a nightmare to remove.
This heated airer offers an alternative method and it can take up to 10kg of washing.
And after its work is done, it can be folded away neatly to save space.
How to bag a bargain
SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…
Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.
Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.
Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.
Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.
Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.
When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.
Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
