Geneva Co. students continue to get free breakfast, lunch

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — Geneva County Schools announced Tuesday morning that they will continue to offer free and reduced-price lunches through the Community Eligibility Program during the 2024-2025 school year.

No meal applications are required with this program.

This announcement follows suit with several other school systems, such as Dothan City Schools and Coffee County Schools, which will also participate in CEP.

This program is often used in lower-income areas and school districts.

The Geneva County School System includes Geneva County Elementary, Middle, and High School, Slocomb Elementary, Middle, and High School, and Samson Elementary, Middle, and High School.
