ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — Enterprise City Hall will close at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, for electrical work.
City Hall is expected to reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19.
Despite city hall being closed, all other city buildings will remain open.
If citizens wish to talk to an Enterprise Police Officer during the closure, they can use the non-emergency button located near the main entrance. Those wanting to drop off payments to Enterprise Water OWorks can do so at the drop box in the rear parking lot or the main drop box by the front entrance of the building.
“As we work to renovate Enterprise City Hall for the betterment of our citizens and community, we appreciate the public’s patience and understanding,” Mayor William E. Cooper said. “Closing Enterprise City Hall on Thursday afternoon will allow the electrical crews the time they need to make the necessary modifications.”
The work is part of a $7.8 million renovation project at Enterprise City Hall that began last fall.
Phase I of the project is expected to be completed by October 2024.
