Xbox Game Pass is losing two of its best games before the end of July as subscribers rush to play them

XBOX has come under fire lately for a number of changes to the service that have angered fans.

Not only did Xbox Game Pass’ price increase, but Xbox Game Pass for Consoles has changed name, and no longer offers day-one releases.

To add insult to injury, Xbox then announced that most of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July would be day-one releases, pushing people to subscribe to the more expensive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier.

If all of these changes weren’t enough to upset Xbox fans, two of Game Pass’ best games are leaving the service at the end of the month.

A Short Hike has an incredible 88 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic, and will be leaving Game Pass on July 31.

It’s a game all about traversing a small island, helping out the people who live there, and enjoying the scenery.

A Short Hike is one of the best cosy games around, and both critics and players love its relaxing vibes.

Another game leaving the service at the end of the month is the 84-rated Venba.

Released just last year, Venba is a narrative cooking game all about preparing South Indian food with your family.

While it’s more of a niche pick, Train Sim World 4 will also be leaving Game Pass at the end of July.

Luckily, the first two games on this list are rather short and you should have time to finish them before they are gone for good.

It’s still disappointing to see that some of the best quality games are leaving the service, especially just as the price increased.
