UPDATE: An arrest has been made in a deadly shooting in the drive-thru of a Daleville McDonald’s.
Daleville Police Chief, John Crawford confirms to WDHN that Rickey McCray was arrested.
McCray is the husband of the victim, Stephanie McCray.
Crawford says they are still executing search warrants and Rickey McCray is currently charged with Murder.

DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) – New information has been released regarding a woman who was shot to death at a Daleville McDonald’s over the weekend.
Dale County Coroner John Cawley identified the victim as Stephanie McCray, 37, of Daleville.
He says the shooting happened late Saturday night in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on Daleville Avenue near the entrance to Fort Novosel.
According to Daleville Police, McCray was shot in her vehicle by an unidentified passenger, who fled the scene.
“It was very devastating, regardless of the situation no one deserves to be killed the way that she was,” a friend of Stephanie, Francia James said. “It was definitely a senseless act.”
James had just spoken to the Daleville mother two earlier that day. as their sons are best friends.
“I actually picked up our children to go to the rec center and she was up in spirits like always,” James said.
James says that McCray will be remembered as loving and supportive, while also being someone who always had a smile on her face.
“She walked around laughing all day with nothing but positive energy,” James said. “She was just a loved woman.”
Police say investigators are attempting to obtain surveillance video from surrounding businesses that may have captured the shooting on tape.
Daleville Investigators are searching for an unidentified person of interest.
