THE STEAM Summer Sale is about to start, but a free game is always better than a deep discount.
Not only are the Epic Game Store’s games free, but this week it has a huge 87 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.

This week, players can grab Sunless Skies, the popular follow-up to Sunless Sea.
Sunless Skies is a story-focused horror game that also involves exploration and decision-making.
The blurb reads: “Captain a spacefaring steam locomotive as a new Victorian empire takes to the stars!
“Lead your hapless crew into trouble – and out of their minds. Smuggle souls. Barter for barrels of time. Stop for cricket (and a nice cup of tea).”
Further, the Sovereign Edition, which is currently available from the Epic Games Store, is the complete and definitive version of Sunless Skies.
It is said that: “it incorporates the many additions made since launch – including new officers, enemies, engines, stories, and mascots.
“As well as a completely reworked region, a full steam mode for long journeys and desperate escapes, and the much-requested horn – as well as dozens of quality of life improvements.”
Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition usually costs £18.99/$24.99, so you can save a lot of money by picking up this week’s deal.
This game will be available until Thursday, June 4, 2024, so you have just a week if you want to grab them.
You can claim it either through the Epic Games Store web page or directly from the Epic Games Launcher.
The launcher is free to download, and you will need it to play these games, so it’s worth installing on your PC if you want to claim them.
